World Refugee Day in Shimokita: 世界難民の日 in しもきた

6月20日、世界難民の日では、難民問題を考えるイベントが世界中で開催されます。シモキタでも何かやろうよ。その思いからはじまったイベントです。

音楽あり、ダンスあり、 アートあり、フードあり。誰でも何でも言えるオープンマイクも用意します。当日は難民問題にとりくむ専門家や現場の人達も参加します。シモキタのいろんなファクターを混ぜ合わせて世界とつながる実験的なイベントです。

JARとRIJの協力のもと、ライブハウス「ろくでもない夜」と北口駅前「しもきたスクエ ア」の二ヵ所で実施します。このイベントの収益は、JARとRIJに寄付されます

World Refugee Day, internationally paying respect on June 20th each year, is dedicated to raising awareness of the situation of refugees throughout the world.

Why not in Shimokita? This project has started just like that. Cool music, dance, art and foods we love here and special guests and messages from JAR and RIJ. Open mic sessions for you to speak up. This is an experimental event to compile various aspects of Shimokita together with the rest of he world. This is a charity event: all profits will be donated to JAR and RIJ.
